At Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow, we want you to enjoy a comfortable, safe, and peaceful stay in the unique setting of the Costa Brava. Therefore, we provide you with these internal regulations, which outline the basic rules for operation, coexistence, and use of the facilities during your stay.
Article 1. All persons who register and access Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow shall be obliged to comply with these Regulations and other provisions contained in current legislation (O.11/7/86.Art.30.1). Any specific provision of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow that is publicly displayed forms part of these regulations.
Article 2. Minors under 16 years of age will not be admitted unless accompanied by an adult who expressly takes responsibility for the minor's conduct.
Article 3. Entry will not be permitted to those who are indebted to the company for services rendered previously and whose amounts have not been paid on time.
Art. 4. Animals will not be allowed at Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
Art. 5. The client must prove both his identity and that of his companions, with the necessary documentation and that which Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow determines as essential for his registration.
Article 6. The current rates are those displayed on the official poster. Prices are per person according to the number of nights stayed. Check-out time at Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow is 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-outs, up to 12:00 PM, will incur a surcharge of €40 per person, and after that time, an additional day's charge will apply.
Art. 7. All overnight stays will be in the bungalows or rooms designated for this purpose, and any other type of element that replaces those implemented in Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow is prohibited.
Art. 8º. Any service provided by Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow, without being required by current tourism regulations, is entirely voluntary, and therefore its provision may be suspended.
Article 9. The use of vehicles within Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow is recommended to be minimized, limiting their speed to 10 km/h. The use of vehicles for sports, leisure, or driving practice of any kind, especially motor vehicles, is not permitted. Violators of this rule will be held civilly or criminally liable for any accident.
Article 10. Entry is not permitted to persons not staying at Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow. In exceptional cases, visitors may obtain authorization to bring family members and/or friends, under their own responsibility, for a limited time as previously agreed, upon presentation of proof of identity. Visitors are required to comply with the rules of these Regulations or the Internal Regulations. Visitors must leave the premises before the established closing time and are not permitted to stay overnight under any circumstances without prior registration and payment.
Article 11. Quiet hours will be from 24:00 until 8:00 a.m. During these hours, the client will avoid all kinds of noise or voices and will regulate sound and lighting equipment so as not to cause disturbance to their neighbors.
Article 12. Obligations:
a) To comply with the specific rules of the Management of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow aimed at maintaining order and the proper functioning of the resort.
b) Respect existing vegetation, avoiding actions and the use of elements that damage it.
c) Respect the facilities in general, using them properly and leaving them in condition for a new use.
d) Respect the logical rules of coexistence and public order, taking extra care, if possible, in consideration of the particularities of the activity of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
e) Report cases of contagious disease to the Management of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
f) Collect all types of waste in closed bags, depositing them in the containers provided for this purpose.
g) Pay promptly for the services used in accordance with the established rates and conditions.
h) Leave the resort at the end of the contracted stay.
i) Take the necessary precautions for the security of your belongings and valuables.
j) Guests of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow, as well as non-guests, must always wear shoes and dress (at least summer clothes) inside the premises.
Article 13. Prohibitions:
a) Disturbing the rest of other customers during quiet hours.
b) To play games or sports that may be dangerous or bother others.
c) Lighting any type of fire on the ground, including butane gas or electric stoves, barbecues or charcoal.
d) Being in possession of any type of weapons or objects that may cause an accident.
e) Leaving waste outside of the containers intended for it.
f) Hanging clothes in unauthorized places or where they may damage or harm the property, hygiene or appearance of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
g) Install fences, barriers or awnings on the bungalows, as well as any other element.
h) To perform any kind of act that may damage or harm the property, hygiene or appearance of the CV.
i) For obvious reasons, it is strictly forbidden to bring food, drinks or materials into or take them out of the restaurant.
j) Vehicles must be parked in the designated area, the parking lot. Parking in the immediate vicinity of the bungalows will only be permitted for a short period of time (max. 30 min.) for loading or unloading luggage.
k) It is not permitted to ride skateboards, roller skates, scooters, bicycles or mopeds inside Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
l) Total and absolute prohibition of consumption or possession of drugs, narcotics or psychotropic substances within the premises of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
Article 14. The consumption of food or drinks purchased outside of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, except inside the bungalows or rooms.
Article 15. In the event of non-payment or abandonment, the management of Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow may move personal belongings to a new location outside the accommodation area in order to vacate the bungalow. The resort is not responsible for belongings removed more than 7 days after the departure date.
Art. 16º. Payment for the stay will be made in a certain percentage in advance and the remainder of the payment will be made upon the client's arrival at Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow.
Article 17. Any customer who contravenes any aspect of these Regulations will be asked to leave Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow and, if they do not do so voluntarily, will be expelled by the Management, who is officially authorized to do so, requesting, if necessary, the assistance of law enforcement.
Article 18. Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage of any kind suffered by guests who do not deposit their belongings in the safes available for a small rental fee at reception. Nor is the company responsible for damage caused by fires started by guests or their belongings, weather events, or any other cause beyond the company's control.
Art. 19. By the mere fact of registering at Cala Montjoi Resort & Bungalow, the client accepts to know and agree to this Internal Regulations and all other particular rules referred to in the second paragraph of article 1.
Article 20. For any controversy that may arise as a result of the interpretation of these Internal Regulations, THE PARTIES agree that, with respect to judicial submission, the provisions of Article 90 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, shall apply, or, failing that, any other legislation that is applicable at the national, regional or supranational level.
