What is the Biosphere Certification?
The Biosphere Certification is an internationally recognised label awarded to tourism businesses and destinations that operate according to sustainability principles. Based on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it assesses areas such as environmental management, social responsibility, heritage conservation, efficient use of resources and contribution to the local economy.
Receiving this certification means that the way we work follows a continuous improvement model, implementing concrete actions to reduce our environmental impact while creating a positive contribution to our surroundings.
